This course provides the participants with a thorough knowledge of the work management cycle and an understanding of the organizational discipline required to make improvements. Key points of discussion include the identification of work, planning techniques, developing and executing a maintenance work schedule, and the historical analysis of performance.·
Upon completion of this course, each participant will be able to:
- Understand the concepts of maintenance waste and wrench time and the effect that effective work management techniques have on these elements.
- Understand the work management cycle and the specific techniques applied in each phase of the cycle.
- Measure their current performance in each aspect of the work management cycle and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Apply the special techniques required to plan for and execute effective outages
- Assess the current work management practices within their organization and develop an improvement plan for success.
